“As a business owner, father, and investigator, I’ve learned that who you are matters far more than what you achieve. This scholarship is about recognizing that.”

-Justin D. Hodson, CPI

At Hodson P.I., our work is built on uncovering the truth. This scholarship is built on the same principle — recognizing those who live it.

While our work as investigators is rooted in uncovering facts and providing answers, our purpose goes beyond that. We are a family-run business that values people, relationships, and doing what is right – even when it is difficult. The Hodson Truth & Integrity Scholarship was created to support students who reflect these same values. We are seeking individuals interested in pursuing a career in the legal, claims, or investigative field who demonstrate honesty, accountability, leadership, and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact in their lives and in the lives of others.

This scholarship is not just about academic achievement. It is about character. It is about the choices you make when no one is watching, the way you treat others, and the responsibility you take for your actions.

We are proud to invest in students who lead with integrity and who will carry those values into their future careers, families, and communities.

What We Look For

Passion &

Pursuit

We look for students who are actively pursuing, or aspire to pursue, a career in the legal, claims, or investigative field.

Your passion could be a career goal, a personal mission, a skill, a trade, or a cause that matters deeply to you. What matters most is how you pursue it – with effort, consistency, and a willingness to grow.

Passion without action is just interest. We are looking for follow-through.

Character &

Authenticity

We look for students who are making the right choices even when it is difficult, taking responsibility for your actions, and treating others with respect.

Be honest about your experiences, your growth, and what you have learned along the way.

We are not looking for perfect answers — we are looking for real ones.

How to Stand Out

If you want your application to stand out, focus on clarity and honesty over perfection.
