Michele O’Brien Olsen is a Senior Case Manager I in Hodson P.I.’s Surveillance Division, where she coordinates and oversees surveillance investigation assignments from intake through completion. Her role includes conducting detailed open-source research in support of assignments, maintaining professional and timely communication with clients, and delivering a high level of customer service throughout each investigation. Michele is POST certified for Background Investigations, further strengthening her ability to support complex and sensitive cases.
Michele holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and she previously worked as an EMT—experience that contributes to her analytical approach, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure.
Prior to joining Hodson P.I., Michele gained experience in private investigations and worked as a background investigator for a tribal gaming agency, building a strong foundation in investigative standards, compliance, and reporting.
Outside of work, Michele serves on the Board of Directors for Paws4Law, an organization that supports the City of Murrieta’s K9 team throughout their careers and into retirement. She is also passionate about helping children and credits her time as a YMCA summer camp counselor with shaping her appreciation for mentorship and community impact.
Fun facts: Michele’s first job at age 14 involved performing as a costume character and delivering singing telegrams, and she previously raced quads and closed-course off-road trucks.
