Event Details
- Participation Eligibility
- Open to all employees who wish to participate.
- Participation is voluntary; employees are not required to join.
- Date and Time
- The contest will be held on Teams – 12/23 at 12:30PM
- Participants should arrive with their sweaters on or take photo at an earlier time.
Sweater Guidelines
- Adherence to Dress Code
- Sweaters must comply with the company’s established dress code and grooming policy to maintain professionalism and decorum.
- Content Restrictions
- Sweaters should not display any language, images, or symbols that could be deemed offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate. This includes, but is not limited to, content related to race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or political affiliations.
- Safety Compliance
- Sweaters should not feature any potentially hazardous attachments such as sharp objects, hanging wires, or heavy items that could pose a risk to the wearer or others.
- Modesty and Appropriateness
- Sweaters must provide sufficient coverage and should not be excessively revealing. Employees should ensure that their attire is suitable for a professional setting.
- Non-Distractive Elements
- Sweaters should avoid elements that could excessively distract or impede others’ ability to work, such as overly bright flashing lights or sound-producing attachments. Battery-operated accessories must be used with caution.
- Work Functionality
- Sweaters should allow employees to comfortably perform their job duties. Excessive bulk, restrictive designs, or other impairing features should be avoided.
- Cultural Sensitivity
- Designs that might appropriate or trivialize cultural or religious symbols in a disrespectful manner should be avoided to maintain an inclusive environment.
Rules and Evaluation
- Judging Criteria
- Sweaters will be judged by all participants on creativity, originality, and overall festiveness.
- Categories and Prizes
- Winner will receive 500 Tacos.
- Voting Procedure
- Voting will be done by a poll on Teams.
- Work Schedule and Participation
- The contest should take place during lunch hours or at a scheduled time that minimizes disruption to work.
- Employees should ensure their participation does not interfere with essential work duties.
- Safety and Conduct
- Sweaters should not include lights or elements that could pose a fire hazard or cause distractions.
- Employees must maintain decorum and respect toward all participants.
- Disqualification
- Sweaters that do not meet workplace standards or the contest rules may result in disqualification.
